Araghchi: Agreement with the US is achievable, but Iran will not back down on its nuclear rights

Ahead of the fourth round of indirect talks with the United States, which are scheduled to resume today, Sunday, May 11, in Muscat, the capital of Oman, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi emphasized at the Iran-Arab World Dialogue in Doha that the Islamic Republic of Iran has never sought nuclear weapons and is not, but insists on its legitimate rights to the peaceful use of nuclear energy. Stating that if the West s goal is to ensure that Iran s nuclear program is peaceful, an agreement is fully within reach, he warned that Iran will not back down on any of its people s rights if unreasonable demands continue.
