During his speech at the international conference on “Marja Mujahid” commemorating the 40th anniversary of the passing of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Abdullah Shirazi (may God have mercy on him) in the holy city of Mashhad, the head of the Tabyan Center considered the political thought of this Marja Taqlid as one of the important indicators that has not been discussed much about him. He pointed out that he considered macro-vision, seriousness towards enemies and compassion towards Muslims, anti-arrogance, trend-building, organized action, permanence and insight along with timely action to be the results of the presence of political thought in the personality of a Marja Taqlid, and emphasized: Grand Ayatollah Shirazi was one of the Marjas who paid special attention to the issues of Afghanistan and the refugees.
