The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has signed a 30-year contract with the Turkish company Amioglu to extract marble in the Darreh-e-Noor area of Shah Wali Kot district of Qamdahar province for $6.2 million. The contract is said to provide employment for hundreds of young people and bring numerous social services to the people of the region.
