At the scientific congress on Peaceful Life Between Islamic Denominations Based on the Teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which was held at the initiative of the Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul, speakers, referring to Imam Khomeini s (RA) initiative in naming Unity Week, emphasized that the enemies of Islam intended to exploit the historical difference in the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), but this threat turned into an opportunity for Muslim convergence and unity. The meeting, attended by Shiite and Sunni scholars, thinkers, and diplomats, discussed strategies to strengthen Islamic unity against global divisive waves.
